Shield Square to compete in Start Tel Aviv

    New Delhi, 8 August, 2014: The Embassy of Israel in partnership with TIE Delhi-NCR organized the Start Tel Aviv – India Finals, to find the Indian entry for the Start Tel Aviv event in Israel in September. The event received more than 70 entries from all over India. The final five startups presenting at the Delhi Finals were – App Virality, ShieldSquare, Adom Technologies, Vidgyor Media Technologies, LinkSmart Technologies. The jury included Jaspreet Bindra, CEO, Getit.com; Dev Khare, Venture Investor at Lightspeed Ventures and Kunal Bajaj, Serial Entrepreneur and Tech Evangelist.
     
    The winner, Pawan Thatha, Co-Founder & CEO - Shield Square from Bangalore, will travel to Tel Aviv in September to participate in "Start Tel Aviv" event during the DLD Festival week, and  participants will have the opportunity to meet the smartest and the most innovative companies, techies, startups, designers, artists, scientists, investors, and cultural drivers from Israel and abroad. Start Tel Aviv is a global event held by The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tel Aviv Global that brings together startups from eighteen different countries to take part in an intense, five-day startup experience in Tel Aviv's unrivaled startup ecosystem.
